Add a banner to your campaign

Using your own imagery is a great way to maximise brand recognition and enhance trust with your donors. Here we explain what you need to keep in mind when producing a banner image.

Banner images sit at the top of the fundraising screen. Depending on the template you use - either the banner template, or the banner message template - you'll have 30% of the space or 15% of the space at the top of the screen allocated to your image. This means on a 1200 x 1920px screen your banner image would need to be 1200 x 576px to fill the space available in the banner template.

Sizing

With banner images you're also able to specify how you want the image sized. You have three options:

  1. Cover - Scale the image up or down so it covers the entire available space. If the image is not a perfect fit this results in a portion of the image being cut off.
  2. Contain - Scale the image without cutting any of it off. If the image is not a perfect fit this results in areas of the background colour being seen.
  3. Auto - Here the image is centered in the space and no scaling is done. If the image is larger than the space it will not be resized.
