Give A Little community raises a fabulous £40m through the platform
Give A Little today celebrates that our community of 8,700+ charities has reached the milestone of raising a fabulous £40m in cashless donations through the platform.
August 16, 2024The fact that we are reporting another incredible milestone so soon after the last - we announced that £30m was raised through the platform in February this year - is testament to how rapidly donors are embracing cashless giving and how many new charities are signing up. We have welcomed an incredible 1,000+ new charities to the Give A Little community since February 2024 and that fast pace of growth is showing no signs of abating!
Let’s hear from some members of the Give A Little community
Nicola Dawes DL, Chief Executive and Founder of Baby Bank, Stripey Stork:
"We have been working with Give A Little for almost two years and in that time, we've seen how embracing cashless fundraising can really boost our income whether it's enabling corporate supporters to easily give, or being able to take spontaneous donations on-site. It's fantastic to be a small part of the Give A Little community's big £40m milestone and we look forward to helping them get to £50m!"
Darren Hayes, Head of Strategic Partnerships and Development, Weston Park Cancer Charity:
"Give A Little has become core to our contactless fundraising strategy and we are so pleased with how much we've been able to raise in the year and a bit that we've been using the platform. We would like to thank our supporters for helping us play a part in Give A Little achieving this fantastic £40m milestone for their community of charities."
Charlotte Cailliez, Head of Fundraising and Communications, Big Hearts Community Trust:
“We are proud to be part of Give A Little’s journey and celebrate the £40m milestone achieved by the Give A Little charity community. It’s an incredible achievement! A massive thank you to all the football and charity supporters who donated to Big Hearts recently. Your support means a lot and helps all of us achieve good things for the communities we serve.”
We are planning something extra special to celebrate the big £50m milestone with our community so watch this space!
