Give A Little DIY DonationFrame LM84 - shown in a countertop position with a museum backdrop

Give A Little Welcomes First DIY Product Partner

We are excited to announce our first Do-It-Yourself (DIY) product partner, The 3D Room. Allowing our community of charities to create their own DIY point of donation has been a central part of our aim to be the most easy-to-use, flexible and affordable way for charities to collect cashless donations.

Over 30% of our charity community uses a DIY approach and many have wowed us with an array of creative ideas from

Shoeburyness & Thorpe Bay Baptist Church’s wall mounted donation station

And now,

has created a clever 3D printed frame to help you create a professional looking and versatile DIY point of donation. Exclusively distributed by Payaz , the Give A Little DIY DonationFrame LM84 can be used with either a SumUp Air or a Stripe WisePad 3 card reader and is specifically designed for a Lenovo M8 Gen 4 tablet for running our Give A Little app. The frame can be either wall mounted or used as a countertop point of donation.

Watch our handy video showing you how to set up your DIY DonationFrame (view more detailed instructions here ):

John Beardon, who runs the 3D Room designed the enclosure after a mosque using Give A Little asked him to create a 3D printed surround to house their Android tablet and a SumUp Air card reader. John got to work and the first DIY frame was born!

Since then charities such as the South London Gallery have used the enclosure to create eye-catching and practical points of donation.

We also recently

to allow our community to use the Stripe WisePad 3 card reader with an Android device and the Give A Little app to collect contactless donations. Once John heard that Give A Little could also be used with the Stripe WisePad 3, he set about adapting his enclosure design to accommodate either a SumUp Air or a Stripe WisePad 3 card reader.

The new design incorporates clever channels for cables to be neatly stored and routed and the casing design prevents donors accessing the Android controls, negating the need for a third party kiosk app. There is a slot for card reader insertion for both card readers and the enclosure can be purchased in either black or white.

Legs can be purchased separately if you want to use the enclosure as a countertop point of donation and it’s easy to mount on a wall via either a standard UK single back box or it can be screwed to a wall via multiple fixing holes.

The Give A Little DIY DonationFrame LM84 is distributed exclusively by Payaz - purchase here.
