April 4, 2022The Noël Coward Foundation is one of the many charities that is currently benefiting from using Give A Little’s free basic account. The Foundation’’s aim is to award grants to educational and development projects across the Arts and to continue the keen interest Coward himself took in charitable work during his lifetime. The Foundation supports a diverse range of organisations working in theatre, music, playwriting, technical training, academic research and many other areas.
The charity has an archive in Farringdon in London, which people can book to visit for free and it also partners with other organisations to host events, where it is using Give A Little web campaigns and QR codes to encourage support.

Robert Hazle, Cultural Development Officer at The Noël Coward Foundation said: ‘Being able to use the Give A Little point-of-donation software platform for free is enabling us to test the water with a cashless giving without having to pay upfront platform costs. We really like the flexibility of the platform and the ability to collect cashless donations in different scenarios whether it’s through our website or at events using QR codes or contactless donations using an Android tablet and card reader. It’s also really useful that we are able to accept international donations through the platform. We hope to grow this new income stream over time and look forward to trying out Give A Little’s premium features when it has become more established.’
On why it was important to offer a free account option on Give A Little, Ben Stewart, Give A Little Service Manager, explains: "We realised very early on in our journey to set up Give A Little, that accessing cashless giving technology was out of reach for many small charities and we wanted to address that. We are building a community where charities support each other. This model enables the smallest charities to access Give A Little for free , while the larger, more established charities benefit from valuable additional features by subscribing to Give A Little’s Premium account. As Give A Little grows, we in turn give back by reducing our fees. It’s fantastic to hear directly from a charity like The Noël Coward Foundation how our vision is helping them grow."
