Inflationary giving

With inflationary giving we give your donors the option to increase their recurring donation each year in line with inflation. For example, if one of your donors sets up a monthly donation of £100, after a year, if inflation was 4%, we will automatically increase their donation to $104.

Enabling inflationary giving

Inflationary giving is enabled by default when you enable recurring donations as long as we have set an inflation rate for the country you fundraise in.

Setting the inflation rate

We set the inflation rate we use once per year and set it using the Consumer Price Index, or equivalent in each supported country.

Donor reminders

We email a reminder to your donors a month before the increase will occur. This reminder gives your donors the chance to opt out and also to change their donation to a different amount if they would like to.
