The campaign screen will show up to four donations amounts which a donor can choose from.
If the last button says ‘+ Other’, this means the donor has the option to choose a custom amount to donate.
The campaign screen may also give the donor the option to toggle between a 'Single' donation or a 'Monthly' donation. A 'Single' donation is a one-off donation. A 'Monthly' donation will set up a recurring donation instruction on the donor's card, which will be taken each month.
Donor's who set up a monthly donation will be sent a receipt via email which contains a link to manage their donation. Here, donors can cancel their donation, change the donation amount, or change the date that the donation is taken on.
If the donor is using a payment card to make a donations, they can input their PIN on the screen to make a donation over the contactless limit of £100, on both iPhone and Android phones. Donors using their digital wallets (Apple Pay and Google Pay) to make donations can donate as much as they like (up to £999,999.99).
