Important contactless giving milestone as charities raise £30m through Give A Little

Give A Little today celebrates that our community of 7,500+ charities has reached the milestone of raising an incredible £30m in cashless donations through the platform.

This important milestone reflects the rapid growth in the nonprofit sector making the move to cashless fundraising. The numbers speak for themselves: It took three years for charities using Give A Little to raise £10m, 11 months to raise the next £10m and just eight months to reach £30m!

We recently published our

, which also highlighted the staggering growth in cashless fundraising - donation revenues raised through our platform increased by 76.7% year on year to £14.3m, and we also celebrated the biggest ever month, helping charities raise £1.9m in December 2023 alone.

During the eight months since our community’s previous milestone, we’ve worked hard to enhance the platform including improving

, adding our first

Do-It-Yourself (DIY) product partner

, and the

expansion of our relationship with payment processor, Stripe

. New features and products include offline donations, Tap-on-Phone and recurring monthly contactless donations. Everything we do has the charities at heart, making sure they have all the tools they need, the flexibility and importantly the affordability to help them maximise their contactless income. 

We also welcomed 3,788 charities onto the platform last year, and this figure is constantly growing. We are very proud of all the charities we work with, from the tiny volunteer led charities to the ‘super large’ national charities and together, we’re excited to see what comes next…and how quickly we’ll be celebrating the next milestone!
